Saying goodbye

This is one of the last pictures we have of Carter and Ellie. We had to put Ellie to sleep after she attacked Carter last month. He had bite marks covering the entire right side of his face. Fortunately Ellie only bit once and pulled away. All but one cut on the bridge of Carter's nose have healed so far.
